Miral Kim-E is responsible for research, valuation, and risk analysis at Frontier Global Partners. He previously served as Vice President for Research and Operations with HAV Capital, a minority and employee-owned asset management company based in La Jolla, California. He has over 30 years of experience in valuation of fixed income capital markets, having held positions at Morgan Stanley, Salomon Brothers, JP Morgan, and Mischler Financial.
Miral is the founder of MEK Securities and holds its United States and Australian patents for the technology platform to deliver information to clients. After earning his doctorate and before his career in finance, Miral worked as a member of technical staff at AT&T Bell Labs. He currently serves as Co-VP of Programming for the MIT Club of San Diego and was active with the MIT Club of So Cal, serving on its Board as an event planner for Orange County and as President during the 2014–2015 fiscal year.
He holds a PhD and an MS in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Caltech.
Miral has served on the Caltech Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2021.
