Caltech Alumni

March 11, 2020

With great concern for the health and well-being of our campus community and Caltech alumni worldwide, we, the Caltech Alumni Association (CAA) leadership, are strategically canceling several CAA events in response to COVID-19.

Caltech Alumni event cancellations as of March 11:

  • Silicon Valley Monthly Lunch (Thursday, March 19)
  • London: Alumni Social (Thursday, March 19)
  • Philadelphia: An Evening with CCE Chair Dennis Dougherty (Monday, March 23)
  • South Bay Monthly Lunch (Thursday, March 26)
  • Boston Pub Night (Wednesday, April 1)
  • Pasadena: A Toast to Techers on Giving Day (Thursday, April 2)
  • San Francisco: A Toast to Techers on Giving Day (Thursday, April 2)

In partnership with Caltech, the CAA leadership, and our alumni volunteers, the CAA will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation. All other CAA events on and off campus, including Reunion Weekend and Seminar Day, are being reviewed by leadership and determinations are being made as to whether we should host, defer, or cancel said events. More information will be shared when available.
